living in a fantasy world

Any excuse to draw gnomes get their rainbow-laced world shattered is a good one. But my favorite part, I think, is the sun.

The so-called “moderates” (e.g., the Bloomberg, McCain crowd) in DC are even more dangerous than the Repubs. Why? They give legitimacy to claims of bipartisanship while not actually playing any sort of oppositional role. Which is why if someone as “sensible” and “moderate” as McCain supports staying in Iraq another 100 years, the political establishment still eats out of his hand. Likewise, pundits who claim that we need to get rid of partisanship entirely are equally idiotic; partisanship is what fuels debate and, most importantly, change.
