I know. It makes too much sense. The guy who made a killing off of playing the same retarded man-child in every film hooks up with the guys who somehow managed to make the retarded-man-child subgenre respectable in the eyes of critics.
I’m mainly still bitter about Apatow inflicting the term “bromance” upon the English language. And Adam Sandler for spending my whole childhood ruining comedy films. But that’s another post.
